Broken down car...am looking forward to the time when cars do not break down...This is 2008...how long do we have to wait?

Although...am not sure I want to crawl over those railings...WTF! Says it will go 700 miles on a tank and cost twenty bucks to fill....did not check the date...so maybe we will need to mulitply that cost...
Ya know what? I do not believe there will ever be a new car that does not take gas, need repairs or otherwise piss me off.
We should have stopped using gas about...many years ago...1975 by my recollection...the first gas shortage in modern times....
It is not just the gas...it is the fact that all the big time auto people put the regular mechanics out of business when they inserted to computer shit...
And! I seriously want to know! Why!? Diesel fuel costs more than gas? And! Why?! No one seems to be disturbed by this?
